Crisis Management Simulation (Germany, 1-6 July 2008)

The first major event on the calendar in the Crisis Management Simulation III in Germany, July 1-6. This is an event where 65 young people, including our own 15 YATA representatives along side with students from Canada and Germany, will tackle problems concerning Afghanistan. NATO has been very supportive of this project; this is a perfect opportunity to show how proactive and engaged we are.

The deadline (28 May) is fast approaching and we need you to subscribe. Please contact BEAA-president Jacques Rosiers through jacques.rosiers@mil.be.

Atlantic Youth Forum (Sussex, 4-8 August 2008)

The Wilton Park 'Atlantic Youth Forum' is to be held this year between Monday 4 -Friday 8 August 2008 at Wiston House, Sussex, England. This will be the sixth Atlantic Youth Forum following its successful establishment in 2003.

The aim is to provide an opportunity for bright, independent young thinkers from the US, Canada and Europe to gain insights into each other's concerns and perceptions and to make some lasting contacts. The forum brings together up to 60 people to discuss some of the key challenges facing our countries in today's world including political,  security, cultural, economic and social issues of major interest to the US,  Canada and European countries.
